Estimation of quantum states and quantum devices certification

 

The estimation of unknown quantum states is crucial for quantum information processing taks. In particular, it is important for the characterization of unknown devices.

We have developed a technique which allows to exploit known symmetries of otherwise unknown quantum states to reduce costs in quantum states estimation tasks. This is crucial for quantum devices certification. Alike previous methods, it works for arbitrary symmetries. Learn more about it reading this work.

 During 2023, I was the Director of a INNOVA CONICET – AWS project aimed to implement and detect symmetric quantum states in quantum computers. Learn more about it reading this document.
